Mediterranean countries are highly known for their cultivation of oregano, which is a member of the mint family. Early Greek physicians are believed to have used oregano oil in order to assess relieving headaches, healing wounds and even as an antidote for Hemlock poisoning.
Through research, scientists have discovered many benefits for oregano. Known for its anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal, anti-parasitic and antiseptic properties, many practitioners advise using it externally due to its strong, anti-rheumatic and analgesic qualities.
Oregano Oil contains the oil from the Origanum vulgare plant, which is known to grow mostly in Turkey and the regions east of the Mediterranean. It has at least 55% carvacrol, which is one of the powerful components that occur in Oregano. It is extracted from a variety of oregano which is also known as “wild oregano.”
Oregano Oil is not genetically modified and is an all natural product. It is GC/IR Verified by qualified chemists.
